TANIUM

Creating a DIGITAL THOUGHT LEADERSHIP magazine about CYBERSECURITY

Cybersecurity company Tanium needed help selling to the c-suite. So, we created Endpoint, a digital magazine aimed at c-suite executives and board members. The magazine helped raise brand awareness for Tanium and made the case that cybersecurity was a business-level issue.

“Kevin built Tanium’s media site from one article to hundreds, focusing on top-of-mind stories to gain mindshare and searchability. He is a journalist at heart. Given a topic, he will create a story.”

–Venus Wills, VP of Brand and Corporate Marketing at Tanium

THE BRIEF:

Tanium manages and secures 30 million endpoints, which is anything with a chip in it, from laptops to PCs to virtual machines in the cloud. Its clients include all five branches of the U.S. military, and enterprise giants like Barclay’s, Sutter Health, ConEd, and Williams Sonoma.

But few business leaders know what an endpoint is or how vital it is to business success. As the pandemic sent millions of workers home, relying on personal devices and unsecured WiFi to log in to enterprise networks and cloud-based workloads, we stepped in to help spread the word.

THE RESULT:

A digital magazine aimed squarely at helping c-suite executives and board members understand the importance of protecting and managing their sprawling technology estate.

Our team handled the entire editorial process, from story selection, to reporting, writing, editing, designing, distributing, and measuring the success of our content. We produced hundreds of stories that helped grow organic traffic 68% month over month, placed Tanium at the top of search engine rankings for several strategic keywords, and filled the sales pipeline.

Using the magazine’s success, we also launched the company’s thought-leadership podcast and a channel on Forbes BrandVoice to showcase their executive’s thinking on key security issues. links to the stories you want to feature.
